Titanfall 2’s Targeting 60 FPS on All Platforms in Single Player and Multiplayer; Resolutions TBD

At Gamescom in Cologne, we had a chat with Titanfall 2 Art Director Joel Emslie, who provided us with more information about the game’s frame rate and resolution combo.

We heard that resolution still isn’t finalized, as the team is putting  the finishing touches on some features that could help with resolution. They’re not yet ready to announce final numbers because they’re not sure if what they have will work properly and is right for the game.

The reason for that is that they want to make sure to get 60 FPS and low latency both in single player and multiplayer. Emslie explained that 60 FPS is something the team really strives for, and it’s a “huge goal” in their minds.

The team feels that Titanfall definitely runs its best at 60 FPS, so that remains their priority.
