Titanfall’s “War Games” Map From the Upcoming “Expedition” DLC Gets Detailed

Titanfall will soon be getting a new DLC called Expedition which will bring with it three new maps. This latest update from Titanfall‘s official site goes into detail about one of the maps: War Games.

This map takes place inside of a simulator. The environments that are simulated are Angel City, Rise and Airbase Sierra. The environments themselves will have themed areas which will act as “hardpoints” while the buildings in-between will be smooth and featureless like the typical training rooms. There will be areas that are “glitching out” to emphasize that you’re inside of a training program.

“Designers imagined a level that was smooth, clean and abstract – a perfect place to design easy-to-read battle spaces and wallrun paths”, says designer¬†Jason McCord. Wall running is something that he really wanted to be in the forefront of this map. “As a designer, I wanted to have the freedom to place wallrun paths wherever I needed them, to connect important areas together.”
