Tokitowa is a New RPG from Imageepoch and Namco Bandai, Looks Gorgeous

While we’ve had hints of this for a while, Famitsu finally blew the lid off of this collaboration between Namco Bandai and Imageepoch, dubbed Tokitowa (roughly Time and Eternity in English). The game features two main characters – a prince and a princess. Sounds cliché, right? We shall see. Their marriage signifies the creation of a new kingdom, but, as usual, all is not well, and the princess has reservations because it was foretold something bad would happen on her wedding day.

The game sports a completely hand-drawn anime aesthetic, even in battle and field scenes, and dubs itself “the world’s first HD animation RPG”. Famitsu also released some screens and character artwork from the title, which you can check out after the break, and the official site also opened today. It looks pretty awesome to me, and I’m always a fan of the anime art style. It warms me bones.
