During a livestream with GamesRadar Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition Executive Producer Scot Amos dropped quite an interesting detail that contradicts previous reports. According to Amos the definitive edition of the game runs at 60 frames per second on PS4.

After the 50:30 mark in the video, that you can see embedded below, he mentioned:

Looking here, this is the PS4 version running at 60 FPS. Again, at 1080P. That's awesome for us to be able to showcase it, because when you get your hands on it...you feel it for sure. And when you're looking at it...you're like, yeah...that's badass.

After a few seconds he was asked for confirmation on whether it was "the PS4 version" he was talking about, and Amos did confirm, making us wonder about what the final frame rate of the Xbox One version will be.

Amos also mentioned that the previous report sparked by Eurogamer and bounced around by several sites, stating that the game would run at 30 FPS, was a "misquote." Crystal Dynamics was aiming for a minimum framerate of 30 FPS, but the version showcased today "clearly runs at 60."

Of course we'll keep you update as soon as we receive further information on the issue.
