Tony Hawk Working with Activision on “Console Game for 2015”

on November 7, 2014 9:42 PM

Tony Hawk Pro Skater fans, get excited, it looks like we might be seeing a return of the franchise in some form next year.

Earlier today, the skateboard legend Tony Hawk himself took to Twitter to let us all know the big news. He posted that there is working being done on a “console game for 2015” and that it will come “along with a new mobile game.”

The last new Tony Hawk console game was Tony Hawk: Shred released back in 2010 and utilizing the skateboard peripheral device introduced in Tony Hawk: Ride. Shred was poorly received and outside of an HD release of the original Tony Hawk Pro Skater and some mobile releases, has been on hiatus from consoles since then.

Here is to hoping that this new entry in the franchise can recapture our hearts like it did with levels like School II on Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 or Airport on Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 back in the days of the N64, Gamecube, Xbox, Playstation and Playstation 2 eras. Are you excited to see a new Tony Hawk game? Let me know in the comments below.
