Toshihiro Nagoshi Would Like to “Reach the Whole World” With PlayStation Exclusive Yakuza Ishin

I wrote multiple times that Yakuza Ishin has a better chance to be localized in English than Yakuza 5. Even if it’s somewhat of a sequel to Yakuza Kenzan! it features new characters and its story is completely stand alone, and it’ll be released when Sony will need as many titles as possible to beef up the library of the PS4.

Is there hope? According to legendary Producer Toshiro Nagoshi there is, as he stated as part of a quite interesting interview on EDGE Online.

I’d definitely love to reach the whole world, haha, if we have the manpower and the money to do it.

Considering that Sega had the money to buy Index and Atlus, it doesn’t seem to me that they lack funds, and since they also acquired Atlus USA with the deal, they most probably have more than enough localization personnel.

Time to regain my respect Sega, make it happen!
