SEGA announced today that the demo for the upcoming strategy game, Total War: Shogun 2, will land on Steam next week on February 22. Not much else is known about the demo, but it should be satisfying for those who want once again to participate in the once-forbidden sport of virtual-Asian-fighting.

Additionally, SEGA revealed a couple pre-order bonuses for the game. Reserve Shogun 2 from GameStop, and you'll be able to unlock "The Historic Battle of Kawagoe." That sounds like a big deal. Pre-order it from Best Buy, and you'll unlock 1,000 Koku, the currency used in the game for various buildings, upgrades, and making it rain.

Total War: Shogun 2 looks fantastic so far; if I wasn't already a part of that life everyday, I might be tempted to pick it up on March 15 for the PC.
