Feral Interactive and Creative Assembly announced today that Total War: Warhammer will be coming to Mac on April 18.

This version of the game is powered by Apple’s new graphics API, Metal. David Stephen, Managing Director of Feral Interactive, had the following to say about porting Total War: Warhammer to Mac:

"Bringing this first installment of Total War: WARHAMMER to the Mac has been an immense endeavor. We know the huge level of expectation from Mac fans of the series, and we are delighted to at last deliver them this wonderful game in all its spellbinding glory.”

Total War: Warhammer is the first in a triology of titles, with its sequel, Total War: Warhmmer II coming to PC later this year. The sequel adds the High Elves, Dark Elves, Lizardmen, and Skaven races to the game.
