We might be just a couple of months away from the launch of Total War: Warhammer II, but The Creative Assembly and Sega are still keen on releasing DLC for Total War: Warhammer.

The new DLC includes the barbaric tribes of Norsca, and it comes with quite a few interesting twists.

Players will take control of either Norsca or Wintertooth, led respectively by legendary lords Wulfrik The Wanderer and Throgg, King of the Trolls. They’ll be able to seek allegiance with the Chaos gods, recruit new heroes and units, hunt monsters in a fully new dedicated feature, and master new abilities.

Interestingly, you can either purchase the package for $9.99, or you can unlock it for free by pre-ordering Total War: Warhammer II, or purchasing it in the first week after launch.

Even if you don’t plan to play the first game all that much anymore with the launch of the sequel, this package will still be useful. While Norsca won’t be playable in Total War: Warhammer II right from the start, a giant grand campaign map including both the new lands (Lustria, Ulthuan and more) and the Old World will be released after launch. Those who own the first game will be able to play any of its race, plus all those that they purchased via DLC, Norsca included.

Total War: Warhammer II will launch on September 28th, exclusively for PC.

If you want to see more about it, you can enjoy a new gameplay video featuring the High Elves a cinematic trailer showing the Dark Elvesthe first gameplay trailer the special editions, a video featuring the High Elf rostera recent in-engine trailer, and the first look at the campaign map.
