Traveller’s Tales Brings the Laughs in Newest Lego City: Undercover Trailer

In my review of Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes, I mentioned that the game’s superb writing, comedy, and voice-acting had set a precedent for all Lego games that followed it. The developers at Traveller’s Tales Fusion do not seem to be taking that lightly, as the newest trailer for the upcoming open-world game, Lego City: Undercover, has brought nothing but the laughs.

A lot of the aforementioned open-world gameplay was also shown in the trailer, in addition to a brief snippet of gameplay on the Wiipad. Like so many other games debuting on the Wii U, the pad gameplay seems to be utilizing some type of detective mode, but we cannot be sure until the game launches.

Lego City: Undercover is being developed by Traveller’s Tales Fusion and will launch alongside the Wii U on November 18th, 2012. The 3DS version will be released on an unspecified date, presumably this year
