Trine 2 Is Half Off On Steam Until Monday, But It’s Gonna Be Twice As Tough

Action-platformer Trine 2 is going half-off on Steam until April 2. It’s also being upgraded to version 1.14. What’s special about this Trine 2 patch, you ask? Well, it introduces a little something Frozenbyte calls “hardcore mode.” Yes, that’s right: If your Trine 2 experience has been lacking a bit of bite lately, it’s now slightly tougher if you activate Hardcore Mode from the settings menu. Of course, it’s not like you need to pay for the game and re-download it in order to take advantage of this. Just patch it up (or update it on the Xbox 360 or PS3) and it’s yours for the taking.

The update also lets you turn off the self-levitating trick (but why would you want to?) Do with that what you will. Oh, and it’s also available in the Mac Store now. Enjoy that, OSX users.
