Mac version of the award-winning fantasy platformer game debuts on Steam

Helsinki, Finland - 26 October 2010 - Finnish game developer Frozenbyte announced today that the award-winning fantasy platformer game Trine will be coming to the Mac platform. Launching in November, the Mac version of Trine brings the beautiful platformer to a whole new audience as a native experience.

"Gaming on the Mac has been on the rise for a while now, and we are absolutely thrilled to bring Trine to the forefront of Mac gaming," said Frozenbyte CEO Lauri Hyvärinen, and continued: "I'm looking forward to getting the game released next month - I can't wait to see how the Mac community embraces Trine!"

Trine is a beautiful fantasy action platformer with a fairytale-like atmosphere, following the journey of three heroes - a Wizard, a Knight and a Thief - in a quest to save the kingdom from evil. Each character has unique abilities and tactics that help the player battle an army of undead and defeat hazardous contraptions.

The Mac version of Trine will make its debut on Steam as a SteamPlay title and will be made available on other digital distribution networks later this year. Please visit www.trine-thegame.com for more information on Trine.
