Triple Town is Leaving Facebook on June 16th, Steam Keys Offered for PC Version

on May 18, 2014 2:41 PM

Spry Fox took to Facebook to announce that Triple Town will no longer be available on Facebook come June 16th. However all is not lost for the iOS and Android versions of Triple Town are still available for free.

This was not an easy decision for anyone, but Triple Town‘s Facebook edition has not been financially successful for many years, and our ongoing efforts to support and maintain it are detracting from our efforts to make new games for you. We hope you will take comfort in the fact that the iOS and Android versions of Triple Town will remain available and free to all of you.

Spry Fox went on to announce a very special deal for those who are interested in playing the PC version via Steam.

Additionally, if you have ever spent any money (even just 99 cents) in the Facebook version of Triple Town, we are giving you a free downloadable copy of the PC/Mac version of Triple Town, which you can retrieve by logging into Triple Town on Facebook anytime between now and June 16th. The PC/Mac version, which currently retails for $10, is nearly identical to the Facebook version.

For those wanting to partake in this offer just log into the game on Facebook before Jun 16th, players that have spent any amount of money (even just 99 cent) on Triple Town‘s Facebook version will be able to claim a Steam key for PC, which is “nearly identical” to the Facebook version.

Considering the PC version currently retails for $10 this is a very generous deal on behalf of Spry Fox.
