Tripwire’s Red Orchestra 2 Gets a Price Cut and Guest Passes

on June 8, 2012 7:47 PM

After the recent free weekend on steam, Tripwire Interactive decided to give players more incentive to enjoy Red Orchestra 2: Game of the Year Edition. The game that won PC Gamer’s “Multiplayer FPS of the year” has recently received new maps and modes with gameplay tweaks and adjustments. As a way to get more people to give the game a try, tripwire cut the price of the game on steam by half, down to $19.99.

Not stopping there, anyone who owns a copy of the game will be given one free guest pass to allow friends to join in on the run and gun action, completely free of charge. It seems that Tripwire really wants to get the word out about their title, as Red Orchestra still has many years of free content updates in the works. Their next add-on, Rising Storm, is set to bring the Pacific Theater alive. Take a look on Steam or any number of other digital distribution venues.
