Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced that Troy Baker will be returning to Middle-Earth to reprise his role of Talion in Middle-Earth: Shadow of War, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox one, and PC on October 10.

In addition to voice work, Troy Baker is also the game's Performance Capture Director, where he will extend his skills to other characters in the game, to ensure that each performance in Shadow of War fits cohesively within the original narrative.

After receiving a short delayMiddle-Earth: Shadow of War expands upon the nemesis system that was introduced in Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor. This means the players are bringing the fight to the front gates of huge orcs empires and invading them the way they want.

In addition to capturing empires, the nemesis system is used to promote and organize Orcs in the player's party. Furthermore, there is still plenty of open world gameplay featured in the game's story mode.

The delay was issued due to time constraints on the development studio, Monolith Productions. The studio requested more time to add polish to the game and insure that Middle-earth: Shadow of War will deliver its promise of delivering the highest quality experience.

The publisher details the game's premise:

Set between the events of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, Middle-earth: Shadow of War is an open-world action RPG that continues the original narrative of Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor. Players will be engrossed in a richer, more personal and expansive world full of epic heroes and villains, iconic locations, original enemy types, more personalities and a new cast of characters with untold stories.

Earlier today, WB revealed their streaming schedule and lineup of games.
