With Twitch’s rise to prominence thanks to its integration on PS4 (and its upcoming inclusion on Xbox One), it’s no surprise that reports indicate Twitch has now become one of the biggest streaming apps in the world.

A new report from Sandvine, a network solutions company dealing with broadband connections, revealed that Twitch has now entered within the top 15 streaming apps across the globe, with Twitch accounts now taking nearly 1.35% of all downstream traffic in North America. In comparison, Sandvine mentions that Twitch’s traffic accumulation is now higher than HBO Go in the US.

Overall, Sandvine reports that Twitch has 1 million monthly active broadcasts, and regularly boasts more than 45 million unique viewers a month.
