on February 20, 2015 7:32 PM

Twitch will be hosting its first ever convention, aptly named TwitchCon, held in Moscone West, San Francisco from September 25th to the 26th.

According to the official page, TwitchCon will be “an interactive convention” featuring both broadcasters and viewers.

Emmett Shear, CEO of Twitch, stated this:

Twitch broadcasters have the most passionate fans, so we want to create an amazing experience where they can come together in person. TwitchCon will be an opportunity for the entire community — broadcasters, game developers, viewers, and us — to play and learn together.

The event is being co-hosted by both Twitch and ReedPOP. You can stay updated on the convention on the official site here and through the Twitter account here.
