Recently, two new trailers were released for MLB The Show 17 and they each gave details on two of the game's most popular modes.

The first of these two videos focused on the new updates to this year's version of franchise mode and featured Toronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Aaron Sanchez. Franchise mode now offers a variety of new features from Quick Manage, which allows you play complete games in under five minutes, to a new option called Critical Situation which lets you take control of a player in late-game scenarios that are vital to the game's outcome. This lets you still feel like you're part of the action without having to play a full nine innings.

The second video focused on Road to the Show and featured Justin Turner, the third baseman from the Los Angeles Dodgers. This trailer mainly showed off the new additions to the character creator, such as Turner's beard, as well as a look at the new dialogue options that you will be able to choose from when speaking to coaches, agents, or GMs. The tagline of Road to the Show this year is "Pave Your Path", due in part because Sony San Diego wants gamers to able to have more choice than ever before in their player's career. This is why new systems like the dialogue options have been added.

You can check both of the trailers out for yourself below to get a more in depth look at the changes that will be coming to each game mode this year. MLB The Show 17 is out just a few days from now on Tuesday, March 28 for the PS4.
