Bethesda and id Software have announced that Free Update 2 is coming to Doom today, and it includes two new multiplayer game modes, called Exodus and Sector.

Exodus, which is a twist on Capture the Flag, but it has constantly moving flags and bases. Sector is a capture-and-hold match where players fight to control areas and gain points. These modes can be played on any existing or future maps.

Some new SnapMap improvements were also added, such as weapon wheel customization, jump pads, 30 new hell themed modules, an expanded weapon list, and a new demon called the Mancubus.

To celebrate this new update and excite people for QuakeCon, id Software is holding the first double XP weekend in Doom, which starts today.

They also revealed that the recently announced DLC Unto the Evil will be launching next week. You can watch a trailer that covers all of this below. Doom is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
