on December 24, 2014 9:21 AM

Back in November, it was reported that development for Final Fantasy Agito Plus (the PS Vita version of the original free-to-play smartphone title) had been halted until further notice due to technical issues. Today Final Fantasy Type-0 HD director Hajime Tabata spoke more about the delay.

According to Japanese blog Hachima Kikou, Tabata stated that there was an issue with the “developmental environment of the PS Vita” and that development can’t go any further until it has been resolved. Currently the team is waiting for an update with the developmet environment, as well as correspondence from Sony Computer Entertainment.

Tabata also commented that development has reached its final stages and is currently in the debugging state. Camera and movement speed has also been improved upon, making fighting much easier.
