News has come that Obsidian Entertainment's isometric RPG, Tyranny is getting a new bunch of content when its newest expansion releases in the form of Tyranny: Bastard's Wound.

Bastard's Wound gives Tyranny players the opportunity to explore the game's new region, appropriately named after the title of the expansion, and provides all of the additional intrigue that a new area would suggest: new folks to murder, befriend, betray, and do the occasional quest for. This new piece of the Tiers is an illegal settlement that has been established by war refugees.

The new expansion will also give players the chance to better understand the personalities of their companions Verse, Barik, and Lantry, via new side quests specific to each character.

When Bastard's Wound releases, it will come alongside a free update to Tyranny, which will provide new voice-acting, as well as a brand new ending to the game. This expansion does not yet have a release date. It also does not have a price point, but for reference, the game's previous expansion Tales from The Tiers is priced at $6.99.
