Ubisoft Annecy Joins International Team Developing Tom Clancy’s The Division

Yet another Ubisoft team has joined Massive Entertainment to help create Tom Clancy’s The Division. First announced at E3 2013, The Division has faced numerous delays and multiple add on teams. First was Red Storm who previously worked on Far Cry 4 with Ubisoft Montreal. Then came Ubisoft Reflections who developed Grow Home and The Crew. Now with Ubisoft Annecy we have a development team who mainly work on multiplayer for the Assassin’s Creed games.

While international teams working on a single product is nothing new to Ubisoft, with Assassin’s Creed Revelations having Ubisoft Annecy, Ubisoft Massive, Ubisoft Quebec, Ubisoft Singapore, Ubisoft Romania, and Ubisoft Kyiv (for the PC version) all aiding Ubisoft Montreal in its development. However, with the multiple delays of The Division, we can only hope that this new addition will speed up its development.
