Ubisoft Expects PS4/Xbox One Shortages This Holiday Season, “a Fantastic Christmas for the Industry”

on November 4, 2015 1:13 PM

During Ubisoft’s quarterly financial conference call for investors and analysts, CEO Yves Guillemot was asked about the company’s point of view on sales of current generation consoles in the Holiday season. He mentioned that shortages are expected.

What Ubisoft hears on the topic is that there will not be enough hardware at the end of the year. The company predicts this to be a very good year for hardware because there are “lots of fantastic games coming.” Guillemot expects this to be a “fantastic Christmas for the industry.”

He also mentioned that there will be less Ubisoft bundles this year than last year. There will be a few, but smaller than in 2014.
