Since its release last week, players across all three platforms for Assassin's Creed Unity have been reporting bugs, crashes, glitches, and other performance issues impeding progress in the game, leading to Ubisoft's live updates blog addressing various issues and correcting them, including the latest that seems to cause crashes across all platforms.

In a new post on the dedicated Assassin's Creed Unity Live Updates blog from Ubisoft, the company detailed that some of the game's social features, such as adding in-game contacts, have been contributing to some of the crashes in the game on all platforms.

In its post, Ubisoft suggests removing all in-game contacts from the game to solve crashing issues, and while it may be only one of the issues in the game, it should resolve several of the performance issues being reported for the game on all platforms, specifically with the game freezing at the main menu.

Assassin's Creed Unity is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
