In addition to the game’s protagonist, Edward Kenway, and the PlayStation-exclusive character, Aveline, Ubisoft has revealed Adewale, the newest character to join the cast of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag.

Adewale is a former slave who killed his master and escaped servitude, soon after which he joined the Assassins and became the Jackdaw’s Quartermaster and Edward Kenway’s First Mate. Adewale will be made available to gamers who purchase the Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag season pass, along with more missions, weapons, and multi-player characters. Season pass buyers also receive an exclusive Kraken Ship pack and of course, the “Freedom Cry” downloadable content.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is being developed by Ubisoft Montreal and will be published by Ubisoft for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, and Wii U between late October and late November of this year.
