Ubisoft Spins a Yarn on Call of Juarez Gunslinger Silas Greaves in a Newly Released Trailer

Ubisoft released a trailer today for the newest entry in the Call of Juarez series, Call of Juarez Gunslinger – The Story of Silas Greaves, coming out May 22nd for the PSN, Xbox Live Arcade and PC. The trailer features (to the tune of a catchy western song) a little insight into the main character of this game, Silas Greaves, a ruthless bounty hunter aiming to be the greatest gunslinger in all the west.

It seems that the player can switch between first and third-person views and that, like a true western gunslinger, impeccable aim is treasured above all. And as you would expect from a Call of Juarez game, the western setting is beautifully and accurately rendered.

The fun mix of blood, violence and antiquated weapons has gotten me pretty excited about this game–here’s hoping that the (sometimes) silly physics and long load times from the previous titles don’t make a reappearance in Gunslinger – The Story of Silas Greaves.
