A recent letter sent out by Ubisoft to various GameStop locations has revealed not one, but two things about Assassin’s Creed III. Downloadable content is a given for any games these days, but the big news is that it appears that a ton of DLC will be made for the upcoming title. In fact, so much DLC is being produced that a season pass incentive will be pushed by Ubisoft and retailers alike.
For those not familiar with the system, a season pass allows gamers to pay a one-time rate for any and all DLC released for a title. In most cases, there is a noticeable discount. Aside from the letter sent to retailers, there has been no official announcement on the status of DLC or a season pass made by Ubisoft.
Assassin’s Creed III will be released on October 30th, 2012 for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. The game will also be released for the Wii U on an unspecified date.
