UFC Undisputed 2010 Cover Revealed

on February 6, 2010 5:00 PM

THQ announced that UFC Heavyweight Champion, Brock Lesnar will be on the cover of UFC Undisputed 2010. Although many fans feel that Anderson Silva should have graced the cover, I find myself defending THQ’s decision to put Lesnar on the cover. In the past year, Lesnar became the undisputed heavyweight champ when he nearly pounded Frank Mir’s head through the canvas with hammerfists at UFC 100.  After that fight, he was scheduled to fight Shane Carwin at UFC 106 but pulled out due to illness. That illness turned out to be near career ending bout with diverticulitis.  Only recently Lesnar appeared with Dana White on ESPN’s Sportscenter to talk about his illness and pending return to the cage.

Although he only has 4 fights in the UFC, he is one of their widely recognized faces to both fans and non-fans of MMA. Also, his recovery from diverticulitis is nothing short of a miracle and truly represents the warrior spirit that many UFC (and MMA) fighters possess. However, oddly enough, this isn’t Lesnar’s first video game cover, seen here. See the brand new UFC Undisputed 2010 cover below.

Currently going to school in Indiana so when Drew isn't studying, you can find him playing games. Though he is typically playing games from this current generation, he'll still bust out classic consoles for a night of nostalgic gaming. If he is not studying or gaming, he is usually out working on his photography. Thinks sleep is for the weak. Favorite Games: Metal Gear Solid, Mega Man 2, Goldeneye
