With it's record breaking Japanese sales, unmatched franchise recognition and five hundred tons of hype, Pokemon Black & White look to be giving the Nintendo DS a fitting goodbye. UK fans will have access to a bundle, including a DSi with impressions of both Reshiram and Zekrom, or the beasts dawning the covers of the Black and White versions respectively, on the front of the device.
This special console will be available in two colors: Black and white. I totally didn't see that coming. UK fans will also have access to a special Liberty Ticket post release, which will allow them to capture Victini, a legendary Pokemon and the first Fire-Psychic type ever to appear in the series. The Liberty Ticket will be distributed by participating stores.
Whether Americans will get hold of the themed consoles, Liberty Ticket or Victini is currently unknown, but I doubt we'd get snubbed in such a major way. Pokemon Black & White will release for the Nintendo DS on March 6th. Hit the break to see the white console.
