For those in the UK who are struggling to pay the full price of a new console, provider O2 may be a potential solution.

The mobile provider today announced that it will be selling  a PS4 together with a Sony Xperia Z1 handset and a copy of Killzone Shadow Fall along with a 12 month subscription to PlayStaion Plus for monthly payments, instead of a single upfront price.

Prices for the bundle vary between either an £89.99 upfront payment with £52.99 monthly payments, or  £129.99 up front and £46.99 each month.

O2’s UK General Manager says that the idea of the bundle is to lower the entry point to the new console generation.

We know our customers love to play and now they can enjoy brilliant gaming with O2, whether they’re at home or on the go. And with our O2 Refresh tariffs getting into the game is cheaper than ever before.
