Ultra Street Fighter 4 to Release New Patch Update and Omega Mode

on October 9, 2014 7:49 PM

Capcom announced during their “World of Capcom” NYCC 2014 panel that they will release a new patch for Ultra Street Fighter 4.

It will add a Delay Standing setting to Training Mode and improve the netcode, as well as fix minor bugs and balance issues — the most prominent being reversals that were unintended for Rolento, Decapre and other characters. Omega Mode is another new feature included in the update. It’s purely for fun and adds powers, new properties and special moves to all 44 characters. It will be available for both online and offline play, in unranked matches only.

Finally, Capcom briefly discussed the current rankings for their Capcom Pro Tour tournament, which is well underway. More information on the nationals will be released in December.
