Unannounced PS4 Game In The Works at Escape Plan Developer

After releasing the lovely Escape Plan on PS Vita and PS4 Fun Bits Interactive went into hiding, obviously cooking up a surprise, and today we learn that said surprise is an unannounced PS4 game.

The “Unannounced PS4 game” is mentioned on the Linkedin Profile of Gameplay Programmer Randall Knapp (who incidentally worked on  Halo 5: Guardians before moving to Fun Bits). In addition to this Senior Producer John Eberhardt‘s profile lists an “unannounced multiplayer adventure game.” While there’s no confirmation that the two mentions are about the same game, it’s very likely, as Fun Bits is a rather small studio, and probably isn’t working on more than one game at the same time.

Further possible info is provided by a career opportunity ad on Fun Bits’ website. We learn that the studio is working on its own proprietary engine, which is definitely a change from Escape Plan, which was developed in Unity.

At the moment there aren’t any more information on the nature of the new game, but we’ll keep you posted as soon as Fun Bits shares anything relevant.
