Unannounced Nintendo Device Detailed by Korean Radio Certification Agency

on April 18, 2014 9:27 AM

The Korean RAA (Radio Research Agency) just posted a certification for an unknown device by Nintendo.

The device, that could be the mysterious  “Non Wearable” “Quality of Life” device teased by President Satoru Iwata a couple months back (and that is rumored to be a revolutionary evolution of the Wii Fit), is described as a “compact video player” and bears the never-seen-before model number WIS-009.

The description is extremely generic, but that’s pretty normal with this kind of certification. Of course this also means that the device will have some kind of wireless connectivity, otherwise it would not need to be certified by the RAA.

The fact that Nintendo is sending the device out for certification probably means that we aren’t too far from hearing more about it.
