Pre-order themes on PS4 are hit and miss, with publishers often just slapping a couple (or even just one) of pictures on the screen and calling it a day. Luckily Sony did not do that with its most anticipated title for next year: Uncharted 4: A Thief's End.

In this post you can see screenshots and a video of the theme, kindly posted by Twitter users Tran Dang Phuc and Christopher. The theme comes with its own background sound, reproducing a tropical forest, and custom animations.

The animations are subtle, and they're easier to see by comparing the two screenshots below. Basically, flocks of birds fly around and the cloudscape continuously changes.

For once we get a really lovely theme for a pre-order. The art is fantastic, and the sound effects are appropriate and not intrusive, as they should be in a theme. Hopefully Sony will release more as we get closer to release on March 18th.
