Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Doesn’t Even Have a Release Window, but Sony Is Already Advertising it

In the past many accused Sony Computer Entertainment not to market its games strongly enough, with AAA first party exclusives often being pushed on the shelves witha level of promotion definitely inferior to the competition. This seems to have changed quite radically.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is a good example of that. The game doesn’t have a release window besides a generic “2015” and the full title has just been unveiled. All we saw of it is a trailer, and the game could be launched a year or more down the line.

Yet Sony is already advertising it with interactive banner ads appearing on several sites. This is a good demonstration of just how much the house of PlayStation counts on Naughty Dog’s critically acclaimed franchise to push the PS4.

Below you can see a video of the banner ad itself in action.
