Uncharted 4 Co-Director Pays Homage to Quantum Break’s Sam Lake: “Big Inspiration”

on May 6, 2016 7:07 PM

Over the past few months we have seen some refreshing examples of mutual respect between the teams at Remedy Entertainment and Naughty Dog.

A while ago, Quantum Break Creative Director Sam Lake sent Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Creaytive Co-Director Neil Drucmann a copy of his game, thanking him for the inspiration and for raising the bar.

Today Druckmann responded with a similar gesture, defining himself a long time fan of Lake’s games and mentioning that they have been a great inspiration.

As usual, those fans that tend to take the rivalry between platform, often trash talking games and developers only because they happen to work on another consoles, should probably take some “big inspiration” from the behavior of these development giants.

Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality) and MMORPGs are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
