Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is getting close to its release, and today Sony Interactive Entertainment hosted a stage event at at Ani-Com & Games Hong Kong, showing off the game in action.

Interestingly, the level was played live by Game Director Kurt Margenau, who has been two-teaming Uncharted: The Lost Legacy together with Creative Drector Shaun Escayg. This time around we can expect an expert hand at the controls.

The gameplay shows our new main duo Chloe Frazer and Nadine Ross in explosive action, as they explore a level mixed with jungle and breathtaking ruins, whilst shooting new villain Asav's men  right in the face.

You can check out the gameplay below (both a recording with just the gameplay, and the full video of the show), and if you want to see more, you can also enjoy some new 4K screenshots captured from a PS4 Pro, and another look at gameplay, this time around from the open world-ish area named The Western Ghats.

Of course, you shouldn't miss my recent hands-on preview, and our interview with Creative Director Shaun Escayg, whom I quizzed about Chloe, the game's development and a lot more.

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy has gone gold last week, and is ready for release on August 22nd, exclusively for the PS4 family of consoles.
