Originally released in 2015, the indie hit Undertale quickly became a cult classic that charmed thousands of RPG lovers everywhere, with the title officially set to head to the PlayStation family this summer with its first ever release on consoles.

During the pre-show ahead of Sony Interactive Entertainment's press conference at E3 2017, an announcement for Undertale was made that the title will be heading to PS4 and PS Vita later this summer, marking the quirky RPG's debut on console outside of its prior release on PC.

Specifically, the game will release in a physical version through Fan Gamer on PS4, while a Collector's Edition of the game will also include an illustrated booklet, a copy of the game's soundtrack, a musical locket, and a special edition collector's box. No news was released for any physical release for the PS Vita edition, but the game will be available regardless digitally on the PlayStation Store.

While the game has been available for some time on PC, the new edition for PlayStation should still be a great treat for those looking for a physical edition of the game, while also offering the chance for many new players to enjoy the game for the first time.

Undertale is currently available on PC, Mac, and Linux, and will head to PS4 and PS Vita later this summer - in the meantime, you can check out the announcement trailer below:
