Juicy Cupcake, a two man indie development team based out of South Australia have just announced their upcoming underwear themed game Brief Battles. Yes, you read that right. In addition to the announcement of the upcoming platform game, the development studio also released an announcement trailer, which can be seen below.

Brief Battles is a four player brawler that pits players in a 2.5 dimensional arena as they duke it out across various stages. The game will feature special pairs of underwear that can be equipped during a match and will offer unique powerups. The game will also feature a variety of game modes that expand beyond free for all and team fights. Hold the Gold is a game mode that rewards players for strutting around the longest wearing a golden pair of underpants while their opponents try to knock them out. A single player mode will also be available at launch and the developers promise some additional secret game modes that haven’t been announced yet.

Brief Battles doesn’t have an official release date as of yet, however the development team is aiming for a Q1 release in 2018. When the game launches it will be available on both Xbox One and PC via Steam.
