Today, Finland-based developer Second Order announced Claybook, a unique physics based puzzle game coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

According to developer Second Order, in Claybook you step into the shoes of brave kids who bring Claybook to life. The game is divided up into chapters, and with each chapter comes with new challenges, unique obstacles, and puzzles. In the game you posses clay blobs and morph them into different shapes in order to "overcome tricky situations." Each shape is said to posses its own strengths and weakness, with some even having special powers.

Everything is said to act as if it was made out of real clay. Every inch of the environment can be shaped and molded and everything has matter inside it, and is not just an outer shell. The clay can be deformed, destroyed, melted to fluid and frozen back to solid.

The game notably boasts local multiplayer. Additionally, it is said to be powered by the developer's  in-house developed technology called Clayfield onto top of Unreal Engine 4.

Claybook is Second Order's first game. The studio was founded back in October 2015 by Sebastian Aaltonen and Sami Saarinen, two veteran game developers who previously worked on the Trials series as Senior Lead Programmer and Technical Art Director respectively.

A release date nor a price point have been divulged. However, there is an announcement trailer: you can check it out below:
