To celebrate the D23 Expo in Tokyo Disney held an auction featuring several pieces of unique memorabilia and collectibles.

One of the items went on sale was an unique figurine of Sora from the Kingdom Hearts series. This one is a quite special specimen, though, as it was a pre-production model created for the development of the first Kingdom Hearts game as a modeling reference. It's unpainted and came with a box autographed by Director Tetsuya Nomura itself.

How much did it sell for? According to Twitter user aibo the final price was 703,000 yen, which translates to $7137.

That's quite the bounty, isn't it? You can check out a picture of the statue and its box below, and don't forget to watch the new trailer of Kingdom Hearts III, that was released just today.
