Students from the University of Utah’s Entertainment Arts and Engineering program have released their senior project game to PlayStation Vita.

Origami Kami is a top down, 3D puzzle boat game, build entirely in the style of origami. Players collect paper cranes while navigating around rivers hazards such as whirl pools. Accumulated cranes can be used to purchase additional boat models and skins.

Created over the course of a school year, the game is the graduating students' final project in the undergraduate Game Design Program. The title was made by 11 programmers, artists, and designers from the University of Utah

“’Origami Kami’ is an easy game to pick up, play, and get lost in,” said Ross Marabella, producer for Valhalla Studio Productions. “It’s a perfect game to unwind while enjoying the scenic water and world.”

The game is available on the PlayStation Vita store for $1.29.
