Until Dawn Shows no Pumpkins in Halloween Teaser Trailer

Ok Sony. We got the message. You love Halloween. That’s why you’re releasing Halloween trailers of every single upcoming game you have. I bet Sony WorldWide Studios President Shuhei Yoshida is cracking the whip right now, forcing developers and administrative staff alike to carve pumpkins in some dungeon deep under the offices in Tokyo.

At the very least the trailer of Until Dawn that Sony just released veers away from the festive and shows no pumpkins or pretty orange lights. The game seems to be a true blue horror story, and replaces candies and “trick or treat” bags with bloodied pictures and circular saws. That’s a bit more like it.

Anyway, I’m done rambling. The trailer is below. It’s a refreshing change from the usual Halloween fare, is it not?
