You would think Sesame Street on Wii would have happened already. Nevertheless, the first Sesame Street title to arrive on Wii will come packaged with plush remote covers. Producers of the game say the Elmo and Cookie Monster covers will make the Wii remote less confusing for younger players.

"This is the first time anything like this has been developed and licensed for Nintendo," said Scott Chambers, Sesame Workshop senior vice president of media distribution. "We will be the first to introduce such an aid. We're doing it so that preschoolers can play and learn from these 'Sesame Street' games without feeling frustrated with the controller."

Elmo's A-to-Zoo Adventure and Cookie's Counting Carnival will release on Wii this fall. They will also release on the Nintendo DS, as well. The Nintendo DS versions won't have special remote covers, but they will include larger styli. The larger styli were designed with children in mind, as they will cater to those with smaller hands.

The two titles will also be coming to PC. No word on what those versions will include. Special mouse pads, perhaps?
