It won't be too much longer and we'll be graced once more with the sequel to Sega's masterful Valkyria Chronicles, which garnered quite a bit of praise a couple years ago when it was released. Valkyria Chronicles II is on the PSP, but that doesn't mean it lacks anything compared to its predecessor. On the contrary, actually - the sequel improves upon the original and even adds in more features. Imagine that, right? Sega is being very good to fans of the franchise.

First off, if you're at all interested in it, you have to go out today and download the demo, which should be up on the PlayStation Store soon. Secondly, it was also mentioned on the PlayStation Blog today that there will be Western-exclusive items in the game. Within the game, you can obtain stickers that you can use to spice up the vehicles you use in combat. We'll see some brand new ones for the Western release of the game. They've also included some unlockable characters from the original title in our version, as well. These characters were actually in the Japanese version, but it is nice to know they will be included in ours, as well.

Valkyria Chronicles II hits store shelves and virtual warehouses (the PSN) on August 31, 2010, just a few short weeks from now.
