Sega has been releasing new PS4 screenshots of its upcoming JRPG Valkyria: Azure Revolution (that will be renamed Valkyria Revolution in the west) on the series' official Twitter account.

The screenshots, that you can see below, focus on the Anti-valkyria unit Vanargand, led by the hero Amleth, on Jutland's princess Ophelia, and on her attendant, and on her attendant, Miranda Villefaut.

On top of those, we also get the original character design art for the titular valkyria Brunhild, posted by her author, Character Designer Takayama Toshiaki. His style is certainly different from that of the other artist involved, Hiro Kiyohara.

While the game will launch in Japan for PS4 and PS Vita on January 19th, the western release of the game was announced yesterday, coming in Q2 2017 and with a wild  Xbox One version appearing.

A new demo featuring the prologue of the game will be released in Japan on December 22nd for PS4, and on December 26th for PS Vita, featuring cross-save and the ability to carry progress over to the final game.
