Yesterday Sega announced that a PS4 demo of Valkyria: Azure Revolution would come to the Japanese PSN on December 22nd. Today they revealed with a press release that a PS Vita Demo will also be delivered on December 26th.

On top of this, we also get a series of screenshots, all from the PS4 version, which you can see at the bottom of the post. As a matter of fact, we have never seen the PS Vita version, and unless Sega reveals something, it the demo might be the first time we actually see it in action. All we know so far is that it does not support the new Gouache rendering engine.

The demo will be released at Noon Japan time in both days, and save games will transfer to the final version of the game. Interestingly, even the demo, that includes the full prologue of the game, supports cross-save, so you can play it at home on PS4 and then on the go on PS Vita preserving your progression.

Those who will complete the demo will receive a "Rush Braid +" Ragnite fragment, granting a fire technique in the final game.

The game will be released in Japan on January 19th, and there is no mention for the moment of a western version of the demo.

A western release of the game has just been announced yesterday. It will change name to Valkyria Revolution in North America and Europe, also gaining an Xbox One version. Of course, there is no word on a Xbox One demo either for the moment.
