All has been fairly quiet on the Valve front, and even more so for Left 4 Dead since the last installment’s release back in 2009. However, Japanese may be getting a new installment of the series to look out for in the near future.

New reports detail that Valve is working alongside with Taito to produce a new entry in the Left 4 Dead series that will be coming specifically to Japanese arcades, titled Left 4 Dead: Survivors, after previously being teased by Taito in an unannounced game titled “Project Z.”

Other than the title and the collaboration between the studios, no other details on the game are available at this time, although it is mentioned that more information on the upcoming game will “be revealed in more detail in the coming weeks.”

Stay tuned for more details on Left 4 Dead: Survivors and news as it develops.
