Today, developer FuturLab and publisher BadLand Games (the publisher of the game was originally Sierra Entertainment) announced that shoot 'em up game Velocity 2X -- the sequel to Velocity Ultra -- is getting a physical launch on PS4 and PlayStation Vita.

For those that don't know, Velocity 2X first launched back in 2014 and quickly became a bit of a cult-classic. However, when the game launched on PS4 and PS Vita (it came to other platforms as well), it only released digitally. But now that is changing.

The PS Vita physical version is simply a physical version of the game, with a bonus copy of Velocity Ultra packed in.

  • Critical Urgency DLC, includes 6 extra levels.
  • Dual Core DLC, includes 10 extra levels.
  • Behind the scenes, making of videos.
  • Soundtrack CD by Joris de Man.
  • Exclusive studio booklet.
