VEV: Viva Ex Vivo to Have In-Game Scavenger Hunt; Winner Designs Truant Pixel’s Next Theme

VEV: Viva Ex Vivo launches tomorrow on PlayStation 4, and to celebrate that launch developer Truant Pixel mentioned in a NeoGAF thread that the game will contain a meta-game scavenger hunt. In the first two environments, players will be able to hunt down rare creatures.

Players who are able to track them down, take a screenshot, and tweet them to the developer (@TruantPixel) will have the creatures formally named after them (prominently displayed in the upcoming PSVR update). Additionally, they will be able to help design Truant Pixel’s notoriously beautiful dynamic themes, which will be listed for free.

VEV: Viva Ex Vivo is available tomorrow on PlayStation 4, with a future update for PlayStation VR. Check out the DualShocker’s review where we noted the “game should be on the short list for any prospective PlayStation VR owner.”

P.S.: the critter in the featured photo is not the mysterious beast Truant Pixel is talking about.
